This album, printed on special, 200g watercolour paper, 19cm x 30cm, displays various pencil drawings, fine watercolour prints with handwritten comments and recreates the atmosphere of this splendid classic event. A true celebration of classic car racing in one of the most important races in the world. Cars with world famous brand names are pictured on the track within its surroundings. Over the pages you will find; AC, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Delage, Delahaye, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lotus, Maserati, MG, Morgan, Renault, Triumph, etc…
Using pencil drawings and watercolours, we have reproduced as realistically as possible, the different grids in the race, notably those which provided incredible fights between top drivers and myths of motoring. We especially endeavoured to convey the atmosphere found and felt in the paddocks, stands, club gatherings and alleys !
The organiser of this fantastic event has also been kind enough to write the foreword for our album which is available on the online shop of Le Mans Classic.
Individually hand produced and numbered, limited to 500 copies.
